Mütercim-Tercümanlık Bölümü Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi bünyesinde 2010-2011 akademik yılında kuruldu.
Amaç ve Hedefler
Mütercim-Tercümanlık bölümünün amacı, öğrencilerin İngilizce, Fransızca ve Türkçe dillerinde dil bilincini geliştirmek; çeviri ve yorumlamadaki teori ve teknikleri öğretmek suretiyle onları yeterli ve yetkin yapmak; her iki dilin kültürü ve kurumları konusunda bilgili, çeviri dalında kuramsal ve eleştirel bilgi birikimine, aynı zamanda uygulama deneyimine sahip kılmak; bir yandan edebiyat, iktisat, hukuk, sosyal bilimler, uluslar arası ilişkiler, fen bilimleri ve tıp, hukuk, teknik konular, medya-iletişim, sosyal bilimler ve diğer güncel konularla ilgili terminoloji, kavramlar, yazma, okuma, anlama ve çevirme ile ilgili bilgiyle donatırken bir yandan da çeviri kuram ve teknikleri ile simültane konferans çevirmenliğinin temel bilgilerine hakim olmalarını sağlamaktır.

Department of Translation and Interpretation was founded under the Faculty of Letters at Cumhuriyet University in the 2010-2011 academic year.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of undergraduate programme of Department of Translation and Interpretation is improving the language awareness and competence of students in English, French and Turkish languages; making them proficient and competent by teaching them theories and techniques in translation and interpretation; ensuring that they are deeply knowledgeable about cultures and institutions of both languages, as well as bringing them in experience in practical terms; and, on the one hand, developing their knowledge and translation skills in literature, economy, law, social sciences, international relations, physical sciences and medicine, technical issues, media-communication, and other daily issues, and on the other hand, providing them with basic knowledge and skills about theories and techniques of translation, and of simultaneous translation techniques for conferences.
Durée d'enseignement: 1 année préparatoire + 4 années
Département de traduction et d'interprétariat a été fondée sous la Faculté des Lettres de l'Université Cumhuriyet dans l'année académique 2010-2011.
Buts et objectifs
L'objectif du programme de premier cycle du Département de traduction et d'interprétation est d'améliorer la sensibilisation aux langues et compétences des étudiants en langues anglaise, française et turque; les rendant compétents et compétentes en leur enseignant les théories et les techniques de traduction et d'interprétariat; veiller à ce qu'ils sont profondément informés sur les cultures et les institutions des deux langues, ainsi que les amener à l'expérience en termes pratiques, et, d'une part, de développer leurs connaissances et leurs compétences de traduction dans la littérature, économie, droit, sciences sociales, relations internationales, sciences physiques et la médecine, questions techniques, les médias de communication, et d'autres problèmes quotidiens, et d'autre part, en leur fournissant les connaissances et compétences de base sur les théories et les techniques de traduction et de techniques de traduction simultanée pour les conférences.
